As of March 1, estrogen gel, patches, & progesterone are now completely free in ‘BC’ through National Pharmacare.

This coverage is universal & trans-inclusive. You don’t need to be menopausal or cis to access it. It’s as easy as going to the pharmacy and filling out your prescription; there’s no copay. You can’t even be charged a dispensing fee.

Thank you to everyone who sent a letter, called, & badgered their MLA to make this victory possible, and to the incredible activists at accessbc.org who opened the door with contraceptive coverage.
