This year, Trans Day of Vision is a demand for action.
We’re gathering to call for the repeal of the harmful name change ban, the expansion of gender-affirming healthcare to meet everyone’s needs, and real commitment to action from the BC government.
Join us on the south side of the BC legislature in ‘Victoria,’ on the traditional territory of the lək̓ʷəŋən People, known today as the Songhees and Esquimalt First Nations.
Show up strong and make our voices heard. Bring flags, signs, chants, friends, family, & lovers. If we’re going to be visible, let’s be visible in our power.
Access Info:
- The south lawn of the legislature is wheelchair accessible.
- We’ll have a tent for masks, water, snacks, and supplies.
- First aid and safety marshalls will be on site. Cops not welcome!
- Hope for sun but check the forecast day-of!
RSVP to get email updates and reminders for the event!
